Want to self-publish but don’t know your POD from your MOT?
Fed up of trawling the internet only to end up more confused than you started?
You’ve come to the right place.
I’ve always been fascinated by the printed word, not just reading itself but the process of putting ink onto paper. In my earliest childhood, I drooled over typewriters. Later, computer printers came along and I watched in awe as little dots on the screen became printed words. I’m sure I would have been star struck by the first printing press but I’m not quite old enough to remember that.
My first novel, Falling Through the World, coincided with a boom in self-publishing occasioned by the development of digital printing and eBooks. The world had moved on and finally, anyone could transform their words into a professional product and make them available worldwide.
As you might expect, I found the process immensely rewarding but it wasn’t without mistakes – expensive ones! With this site, I hope to spare others the pain of those costly errors. More than that, though, I aim to demystify the process of self-publishing and share the tricks and tips I’ve learnt over the past four year.
I hope you enjoy this blog and gain valuable information from it.
Constructive comments and suggestions are always welcome.
